Vintage Admont Suede Trachten Jacke – Great Condition
This is probably the most beautiful “Trachten” jackets that I’ve had in my shop. The suede is beyond soft and has been preserved in near mint condition. The label says “made in West-Germany”, which is a term that started being used on clothing labels in Germany in the early 1970’s and would not have been used beyond 1990. This means the jacket is somewhere between 30-50 years old. A suede jacket of this age in this condition is very rare and special.
The cut is traditional, so it’s perfect to wear with modern pieces to create an elegant classic look. It has stag horn buttons on the front (buttons made from deer antlers that are naturally shed once a year). It has two front pockets and can be closed in front with 2 buttons. Again, because of it’s condition and style this is a rare and special piece.
Admont is a luxury German brand known for incredibly high quality handmade Trachten clothing. This jacket was likely very expensive at it’s time of purchase.
