Cashmere Toddy

The Cashmere Toddy is a warm apple cider punch that you can drink all winter long. It’s packed with vitamin C and a whole plethora of healthy ingredients that keep you in tip top shape during the cold winter months and it’ great for the whole family as you don’t need to add any alcohol to it to enjoy it. Actually I mostly drink it without alcohol. We usually just make a pot on the stove and drink it over a couple days.

Cashmere Toddy
Ingredients
- 1L Cloudy apple juice (Naturtrüb Apfelsaft)
- 500ml Water
- 3cm Piece of ginger (grated, or can also be sliced)
- 6 Cloves
- 2 Pieces of anise
- 1.5 Cinnamon sticks broken into smaller pieces
- 1 Tablespoon honey
- Juice of one lemon
- 4cl Spiced rum per drink
Instructions
Bring water, apple juice and ginger to a boil and then turn off immediately. Add anise, cloves and cinnamon and steep for 10 minutes. After steeping remove all spices. Add lemon juice and honey. Pour 4cl spiced rum in a mug and fill with the apple punch. Enjoy!
